December Activities Roundup and a HUGE giveaway!

The whole month of December is so much fun, mostly because I like to plan a different Christmas activity for my two boys each day. There are favourite things that we do every year, as well as some activities that we change up each December as the boys get older.

Visiting Santa is a must-do on our list!

This year we made Edible Christmas Trees

Preschool Christmas Cards

Popsicle Stick Christmas trees and Christmas bunting at preschool craft class

and a Candy Cane Wreath.

We did some pretend baking using these printables

and had Who Pudding while watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

We celebrate Christmas in summer, so the month included some outdoor activities as well.

Pool parties

Visiting Steam Scene

a Twilight Gala

a BBQ dinner with friends

and playing at home.

I made sure we spent lots of time out and about, and we went to

see the Christmas window display at Ballantynes- the boys also chose their own ornaments for the tree this year

explore the Museum

have a ride on the tram

and the Christmas Grotto.

Lucas even had a personalised video from Santa.

We always put our Christmas tree up on the 19th December after Lucas' birthday.

If you are ever in need of a Christmas tree, please check out King Of Christmas, who has a great selection of trees and have kindly sponsored my latest giveaway. King of Christmas has been spreading Christmas joy for over a decade, with fabulous, lifelike Christmas trees, featuring beautiful canopies, branches laden with lush-green pine needles and easy assembly. There are plenty to choose from, including Artificial Christmas Trees, Pre-Lit Christmas Trees, Unlit Artificial Christmas Trees and Giant Artificial Christmas Trees. They even have a sale on at the moment so that you can be super organised for next Christmas!

Lastly, on Christmas Eve the boys both opened their new pyjamas and Christmas books, and then it was off to bed.

I would love to know what everyone got up to over Christmas- leave a comment and enter the Rafflecopter draw below and you could win a $300 Amazon Gift Card thanks to King Of Christmas.

  11. We had a fun holiday season visiting family, going to the zoo (our zoo puts up Christmas lights everywhere, and it's gorgeous - worth taking a toddler out past bedtime, even!) and the aquarium and the children's museum, and enjoying our activity-based advent calendar!

  12. Hey Lauren....your Xmas activities are inspirational. We did very similar activities. Love filling our advent calendar on a nightly basis with an activity to do the following day. We also introduced Alfie, our Elf on the Shelf last year and both kiddies loved searching for him every morning to see what mischief he'd got up to overnight and where he was hiding.
